Lupita has some dust on her boots and she’s proud of it. Born and raised on the unique soils of the Rutherford AVA in Napa Valley, she learned the industry first-hand as the daughter of local fieldworkers. Lupita’s early exposure to one the world’s premier wine regions allowed her to gain invaluable insight into the hard work, passion, and commitment necessary for success in the wine industry.
In 2008 Lupita moved to San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree from Cal Poly in the Wine and Viticulture program. By the time she graduated in 2013, she was captivated by the beauty of the Central Coast and enamored with local wine industry. She then moved into the direct-to-consumer (DTC) side of the business and quickly realized her passion for engaging with consumers and sharing her knowledge and love for this special industry.
As Tasting Room Manager at Parrish, Lupita is focused on providing an unparalleled experience for each visitor. She is thrilled to continue facilitating DTC growth and is grateful for the opportunity to share what she calls “this little piece of heaven” with the rest of the world. Much like the mysterious “Rutherford dust” of her past, Lupita brings an enduring commitment to quality and a deep connection to the community.
