Cody Alt joined Parrish Family Vineyard in the Fall of 2016. Alt graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2015 with a Wine and Viticulture Degree, concentrating in Oenology. Previously to Parrish, he worked various harvests in the cellar where he spent time at a biodynamic winery in the Rheingau of Germany, wineries in the San Luis Obispo Wine Country, and J. Lohr Winery in Paso Robles.
Alt is believer in the potential of this up and coming wine region and loves working toward achieving that. “Paso Robles is a relatively small community and therefore, we all try to support each other and desire to see this AVA thrive and grow. I’m incredibly happy to be a part of it.”
His appreciation for quality wine, creativity, and positivity is an inspiration to the Parrish team. He’s always learning and experimenting on new ways to make even better wine.
