Parrish Family Vineyard

Creston Vineyard

In 1995, the Parrish Family vineyard was planted on 40 acres with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This unique vineyard consists of four different clones of Cabernet grafted onto two different rootstocks. The terrain of the Parrish Family vineyard is unique to the region due to its location and the influence of the cool evening coastal breezes and the warm daytime temperatures. The soil is granite with high calcium, which produces beautiful color and flavor for the wine. The Cabernet has its own unique personality and as David would tell you: “The wine is distinctive and never tries to be anything else.” Just like he was taught by his Grandpa Earl, “If you’re a 3rd baseman, stay at 3rd base, and don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.”
