Harmonious Pairings: A magical pairing event of wine, food, and music

There’s something magical that happens when wine, food, and music come together. On Sunday, June 22, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, we invite you to experience an unforgettable collaborative pairing experience at Parrish Family Vineyard with a live performance by the San Luis Obispo Symphony.

Set against the scenic beauty of our Paso Robles estate vineyard, this unique event offers guests the chance to enjoy estate-grown wines, delicious culinary offerings, and elegant classical music all in a setting that celebrates the senses.

Food and wine are a time-honored pairing, but when you add music to the experience, something truly transformative happens. Scientific studies have shown that music doesn't just enhance mood—it can actually influence your perception of wine. In a study published in the British Journal of Psychology, researchers found that different music styles impacted how people described and tasted wine. For instance, bold, brassy music made wines seem richer and more powerful, while soft, mellow music brought out delicate, nuanced notes. Research from Oxford University further revealed that wine can taste up to 60% better when enjoyed with music that matches its character.

Picture yourself sipping our velvety Cabernet Sauvignon as the symphony plays a sweeping crescendo—or enjoying a crisp Sauvignon Blanc as soft strings drift through the summer air. It’s more than a pairing—it’s a full sensory experience that turns every sip into something extraordinary.

Tickets for this enchanting evening are $100 for Parrish Wine Club Members and SLO Symphony subscribers, and $120 for non-members. Your ticket includes the live performance, wine, and food—all set in the heart of Paso Robles wine country, surrounded by the picturesque vineyard.

Whether you're a lover of fine wine, live music, or unforgettable moments, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Let’s raise a glass to music, to summer, and to the power of shared experiences.

We look forward to welcoming you.
