The Templeton Vineyard is located in the tranquil hills of the El Pomar AVA. David Parrish studied the area for years before planting 80 acres in 2013 with a diverse range of varieties thanks to the varying soils of granite, clay, and calcareous. The vineyard produces enormously round fruit and earthy flavors with a great mouthfeel. It has become one of the key parts to making the Parrish wine Estate focused. Currently, you can taste the 2016 Estate Grenache Rosé in the tasting room, which was the first wine released showcasing the hard work of this vineyard.
Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Grenache
