Samantha’s culinary journey started with a passion and appreciation for food. It wasn't until later in her life she realized that her passion and love for cooking would evolve into an amazing and exciting career.
In 2014 Samantha graduated with honors from culinary school at The Art Institutes in Sacramento, CA. Prior to graduation she received the Head Chef position at Special Times Catering in Chico, California. During her tenure, the company was rated amongst the top 3 best caterers in Chico.
A military spouse, Samantha moved with her husband and two children to Paso Robles and worked for a local winery as a Sous Chef until she found a challenging niche at the acclaimed restaurant Mint+Craft in downtown San Luis Obispo. Her creative and diverse menu as well as her family style cooking of Our Local Table Dinner menus built her notoriety as an experienced chef. Seeking new challenges, she comes to Parrish Family Vineyard to bring an ever fresh variety of style and new flavors to excite all who come to enjoy Parrish wines.
